I’ve been eating out lately and let’s just say it doesn’t compare to a healthy, home cooked meal. Don’t get me wrong I love exploring new cuisines and letting someone else do the cooking, of course! However, there’s something about preparing meals for my family in the comfort of my own home.
The aroma that fills the air, the sounds of jazz that tickle my ears as I begin to create the mood, it’s a foodie’s peace haven! I’m all about having a warm atmosphere when I cook. It makes the food that much better.
I recently prepared Unstuffed Cabbage with the help of my fave online tool Pinterest and this recipe was a win win- healthy, filling and delicious! I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t change up the recipe and add my own flavor to it. I opted for ground turkey and red peppers to add a slight kick to the taste and it came out amazing! What’s even better, there’s leftovers! Dinner tonight will be that much easier.
