The Art of Mistakes

Use them as if they’re life vests.

They can either save you or cause you to drown.

Which do you choose?

To stay afloat or slowly drift to the bottom?

Use them as if they’re mothers.

They can either love you or scold you.

Which do you choose?

To learn that love may be tough or slowly wilt like a desert rose?

Use them as if they’re stars.

They can either guide you or cause you to get lost.

Which do you choose?

To follow mother nature’s path or be stranded in the land of nowhere?

  1. I believe in making mistakes, because that’s how we learn. But like billionaire Warren Buffet said “People learn from mistakes, but it doesn’t have to be their mistakes.” Some mistakes are good, but a lot of them are unnecessary and some mistakes can be fatal. In that sense, I say avoid them. Learn what hasn’t worked from others, and then just don’t do that.
