To Ponder or Be Present

I rose to the smell of fresh roasted beans that made their way to the Americas from Costa Rica.

As it turns out, it was my good friend Dunkin.

Fresh veggies being prepped for a delicious meal.

A sore body from the latest HIIT workout.

A mind filled with a bunch of ideas.

And I ponder the day.

I ponder where the sun’s rays are leading when they stop reflecting off my living room window.

I ponder where my foot steps will lead me as I go out into the morning.

I ponder the internal conversation that’s taking place within me.

Then I stop.

I finish up my thought and remember to just be.

Not allowing my thoughts to take over what is already flowing my way today.

I open myself up to right now.
